Slavik began his dance journey at the age of six in Ukraine and went on to qualify as a professional instructor in International Latin and Standard, as well as American Rhythm and Smooth.

Throughout his career, he has represented Ukraine, Israel, and Canada in professional championships and now competes with students in Pro-Am events across North America.

Karen began her dance journey at age 7 and started teaching by 16. With over 20 years of experience competing in Pro-Am and professional Ballroom and Latin, she has earned numerous accolades, including 4× FADS Professional American Rhythm Champion, 2nd Place FADS Professional Cabaret, and 3rd Place Professional American Smooth Canadian Championship.

A passionate and dedicated instructor, Karen has guided her students to multiple Top Student and Top Show Dance awards. She teaches International Standard & Latin, American Smooth & Rhythm, and Salsa & Bachata, and continues to train with top professionals in the ballroom industry.

Celina has been dancing for as long as she can remember, with a natural talent for movement and a strong stage presence developed through school musicals. Her passion for performing and connecting with an audience has always been at the heart of her dance journey.

She discovered ballroom dancing at 13 and fully immersed herself in the art when she joined Slavatalent in early 2022. Meeting Slava just before turning 18 became a defining moment in her growth as a dancer.

Now nearly three years into her journey, Celina competes in the Pro-Am division in American Rhythm and Smooth. She continues to train, grow, and share her love for dance.

Yasemin’s passion for dance has inspired others to discover the joy of movement and music for over 30 years. A professional dancer since her early twenties, she has achieved outstanding success with both her competitive students and pro partners, earning numerous accolades, including six titles as FADS Professional American Smooth Champion.

Amanda’s love for dance began at age seven, training in jazz, modern, and contemporary styles. Throughout her school and university years, she competed, performed, and continued teaching as her passion grew.

​

At 23, Amanda discovered ballroom dancing and never looked back. For over 15 years, she has competed in Pro-Am ballroom, specializing in the elegant Smooth dances—waltz, tango, foxtrot, and Viennese waltz. She believes dance is a lifelong journey that brings freedom, creativity, and joy.

Alaina began dancing at just three years old, training extensively in ballet, tap, and jazz throughout her childhood and teen years. She reached the Pre-Advanced level in Cecchetti ballet and began teaching at 16.

​

In 2025, Alaina discovered ballroom at SlavaTalent while preparing her wedding dance with her fiancé and instantly fell in love with the musicality, connection, and artistry of partner dancing.

She brings an energetic, supportive approach to beginners, helping new dancers build strong foundations and confidence.

Jose’s journey into movement began on the soccer field, where he competed in Canada and internationally for over 10 years, learning discipline, focus, and the thrill of performance.

He also spent five years playing piano, developing a deep love for rhythm and musicality. During COVID, Jose discovered ballroom dance and instantly fell in love with its elegance and artistry.

Now a passionate ballroom teacher, he delights in helping students gain confidence, express themselves, and enjoy every step on the dance floor.
